Here I share units of work created for my students. Sometimes they are based around a song (as with Little Red Riding Hood). Other times, they are more thematic (At the Airport, Going to the Movies). Every class is different, and these plans are not meant to be prescriptive. Everything can be adapted!
Travel - At the Airport
Description: Travel – At the Airport is a 6 week lesson plan designed to teach general skills in the context of travel including: waiting in a queue; being ready for your turn; listening to questions; transitioning from one place to another and more.
Red Riding Hood
Description: Red Riding Hood is a four week lesson plan designed to teach rhythm and song; teaching rhythm through song, rhyme and instrument use (percussion); developing memory (learning through listening, call and response singing and more.
